Any individual interested in the objectives of the Society will be considered for membership, provided that all membership requirements are met. There will be no restriction because of place of birth, nationality, residence, sex, race, creed, age or condition of handicap. The membership year runs from January to December and includes an electronic subscription to Brain, Behavior, and Immunity. Current subscription rates can be found here .

Regular Members are persons with doctoral degrees who have already demonstrated significant clinical or basic research contributions to the area of behavioral, neural, endocrine and/or immune interactions.

Trainee Members are pre- and post-doctoral (up to three years post-degree) students, medical students, and resident physicians who are conducting active research in an aspect of psychoneuroimmunology. Recommendation by the student's dissertation committee chair or primary research mentor is required.
