Sad news - the death of Dr Mick Harbuz

Dear PNIRS community,

I have to announce the dreadful news that our highly valued PNIRS member Dr. Michael Harbuz suffered a major stroke on Sunday March 5th and died peacefully in a hospital in Bristol on the 9th.

Mick was an active PNIRS member who did a lot for our society. Mick was also a great advocate for the field of Psychoneuroimmunology in Europe, including helping found the Brain-Immmune-Network Group (BING).

Losing a close colleague is extremely sad. Losing a close colleague who was such an amiable, open and great guy as Mick is a shock, we will miss him immensely. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
