Message from the President. August 12, 2005

Dear PNIRS members and non-members:

The organization of the 13th Annual Meeting of the PNIRS in Miami organized by Neil Schneiderman and his team is running at full speed. Challenging cutting edge proposals for symposia have been submitted already, but I invite everybody to submit more proposals for symposia,so that the scientific committee can select the best ones for our meeting.

In this letter I would specifically like to ask psychologists and psychiatrists to come forward with symposia proposals as well! Proposals can be submitted via e-mail to the PNIRS ( This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it ) or to me directly ( This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it ) before September 1.

This year we will have parallel oral sessions for the first time in PNIRS history, allowing much more scientists to give an oral presentation. I will let you know when and how abstracts can be submitted in my next message. Deadline for submission of abstracts for oral presentations or posters is February 1, 2006.

See you in Miami!

Cobi J. Heijnen, President PNIRS
