We should like to dedicate this meeting to the memory of George Solomon - the founder of Psychoneuroimmunology. He was one of the most significant figure in the history of PsychoNeuroImmunology. George Solomon was truly a visionary; very early in his career, he came to understanding that certain diseases, such as autoimmune diseases, were altered by psychological factors. His official studies of the interaction between the mind and body, as well as their implications for health and disease, were first published reports in the early 1960’s. Throughout his brilliant career, Dr. Solomon was a strong leader, a supporter of our science and a warm and generous co-author, mentor and friend. Additional Information is available here.
