PNIRS Member, Dr. Bill Banks, receives the Middleton Award,  

Dr. William Banks, professor (Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine) and associate chief of staff for Research and Development at VA Puget Sound Health Care System has received the 2018 William S. Middleton Award. It is the highest honor conferred by the VA Biomedical Laboratory Research and Development Service.

A new network for European PNI researchers, the European Psychoneuroimmunology Network (EPN), has  been launched. The purpose of this network is to increase visibility of PNI in Europe, develop new collaborations, engage new European scientists in this field, and encourage student exchange between labs.
